Three months after Cossette promoted Matt Litzinger and David Daga to Co-Chief Creative Officers, Cossette Toronto has expanded its creative capabilities with the addition of six new people to its creative department. Dave explains the strategy behind the creative changes:
“We needed to identify who could best execute our vision in today’s communication environment – both senior and up-and-coming. We brought everyone on board with the understanding that they will be working in an open playing field. We need everyone involved in all aspects of our clients’ communication mix.”
The new hires include:
- Chad Borlase, an award-winning creative director with a strong digital background, joins Cossette as a Creative Director from digital agency Kolody.
- Paired as a new creative team at Cossette with experience in both digital and traditional, is senior writer Peter Gardiner and Kenneth Fothergill, a senior art director.
- Sebastian Lyman, who worked on the Telus digital account at Taxi, joins Cossette as a copywriter.
- Robin Soukvilay and Duncan Collis will also be joining Cossette’s creative department.
“We feel we’ve added the right people to the team. We want to encourage a true democracy within our department, whereby everyone has a chance to work on any business and in any discipline,” adds Matt. “That’s reflected in the people we’ve hired.
We’re all looking forward to the new additions to the team!
