Montréal, September 18, 2009 – Blitz, the PEOPLE FROM COSSETTE business unit specializing in experiential promotion and marketing services, was a standout out at the Canadian Agencies Practicing Marketing Activation (CAPMA) awards ceremony last night in Toronto.
The gala event, held to award the country’s best promotional campaigns, paid tribute to Blitz’s achievements in the following categories:
GOLD with General Motors for Buick ExpoGolf 2008 in the “Best Sponsorship or Tie-in Campaign” category;
SILVER with AVEOS with “Changement d'identité” in the “Best Business to Business Campaign” category;
BRONZE with Canada Post for “Clear the Way” in the "Best Use of Direct Marketing" category;
BRONZE with Home Depot for the “Déménagement – Passez à l'orange c'est beau” campaign and contest in the "Best Activity Generating Brand Awareness & Trial Recruitment" category.
“This is a prestige competition in Canada, and Blitz stands out each year,” says Mélanie Dunn, Vice-President and General Manager of Blitz. “But this time we are especially proud of our performance, with awards recognizing four different clients.”
Blitz has more than 150 employees at its Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver offices.
