Wood: A resource that’s part of our everyday lives

The Quebec Forest Industry Council (QFIC) and the government of Québec are reminding Quebecers that wood is a ubiquitous part of their lives.
In collaboration with Cossette, the Quebec Forest Industry Council (QFIC) and the government of Québec have designed a campaign titled Pas de bois, pas grand-chose to remind Quebecers of the importance of wood in their lives.
We often forget that the forestry industry provides essential products and goods that are an integral part of our everyday lives. This campaign allows people to understand the value of wood in what we do and how we live, and the ways it makes our lives better. It reconnects Quebecers with wood, a noble, sustainable and renewable material.

The challenge was to strike a balance between showing common uses of this raw material and making it entertaining for the viewer. Some scenes are relatable while others are more surprising, but overall, we were able to create a link between the use of wood and Quebecers at large.

The integrated campaign will continue to run in Quebec until December 1 across a multitude of touchpoints, including TV, online, digital, context-driven signage, print media, and a brand new online platform (French only).
