The Québec tourism industry has launched the campaign Québec, mon amour, starring four individuals who’ve chosen the province as their home speaking passionately about the remarkable experiences you can have here. This campaign aims to stimulate local pride and encourage people to pick Québec as their summer vacation and getaway destination.

Produced in collaboration with Caraz and featuring the enticing sounds of the Classels’ smash hit Ton amour a changé ma vie, performed by Ariane Moffatt and Soran, the campaign videos will appear on various platforms and include different perspectives. They’ll be accompanied by activity guides developed with each of the four Québec fans. To follow their adventures, people are invited to visit the Bonjour Québec site.

Pride, passion, and love of the land—that’s the narrative thread that’s woven throughout the creative, all with a touch of magic realism that yields a unique visual language.

Four love stories sure to touch Quebecers’ hearts

The Québec, mon amour campaign, under the Bonjour Québec brand, focuses on four love stories that bring to life what makes Québec such a one-of-a-kind destination. The people behind these stories capture the attention of local and international travellers who share their interests and are eager for exceptional experiences by speaking from the heart, talking about what excites them, and suggesting dream itineraries. May we introduce…

Stéphane Modat, a French chef and restaurateur who’s lived here for 20 years. He’s enamoured with boreal flavours and dazzled by the vastness of Québec, where nature is all around you. This fisherman/epicurean is a great champion of local products and he loves nothing more than spending time with Indigenous communities and learning about their cultures. Meet him here.

Marilou Fauteux, a high-level sports content creator. Her partner, Addison, is an American professional cyclist specializing in road and mountain biking. They love hopping in their van and enjoying outdoor activities with their young son. They’re an inspiring family who have lively adventures in the heart of nature. Make their acquaintance here.

DJ KidCrayola, a lover of good beats, exuberant fun and the kind of city vibes found only in Québec. She’s a professional DJ originally from Haiti who’s very active on the festival circuit—she criss-crosses the province, playing events where crowds welcome her with open arms. Her profound connection to Québec stems from the multicultural, creative and inclusive side of things. Discover her magnetic personality here.

Florence Sabatier, an illustrator from France. Her love of Québec is expressed in photos and drawings that she shares on social media. She’s a contemplative sort who moves at her own pace—strolling through the streets of Montréal and Québec City or basking in the great outdoors at nearby national parks. Natural beauty and urban magic are never far. Step into her world here.

Through their eyes and the sound of their voices, we sense the joy of recounting a great adventure. They prove that Québec still has countless ways to surprise and charm us.

Québec and its tourism regions offer a variety of enriching, unparalleled experiences that we’ve only begun to discover. I think many locals will hit the road this summer and fall in love with Québec all over again. They’ll delight in the quality of the attractions, activities, accommodations and parks—which are among some of the best in the world thanks to our creative culture. The Québec, mon amour campaign reflects this innovative spirit that brings people together, as well as the warm and generous way we welcome visitors.

The Québec, mon amour campaign makes us proud to be Quebecers and helps us see all the treasures we have right here at home. These inspiring accounts broaden our horizons and awaken our desire to discover new parts of our spectacular province. Going on holiday in Québec or having a staycation pretty much guarantees a successful, safe and relaxing trip. It’s also a great way to support the local economy, show solidarity with the province’s 25,000 tourism companies, and encourage business in the regions. There are endless reasons to take full advantage of the warmer months by visiting Québec.
