A new brand and digital platform for Alloprof
Work
A year ago, anticipating a sharp rise in demand for its online services, Alloprof, a learning support tool currently used by 400,000 Québec students, asked Cossette to completely redesign its web platform, browsing experience and visual identity to offer students and their parents a better overall experience.
Flo, every Québec students’ new best friend
At the heart of the Alloprof rebranding project was the humanization of the platform via the introduction of Flo, every Québec student’s new best friend. This character, found everywhere in Alloprof’s digital ecosystem, has become the new face of homework support for students and parents by providing guidance, assistance and encouragement on a daily basis.
Flo is a reflection of its generation: non-gendered and scalable, the character is based on digital codes that are ever-present in kids’ daily lives—stickers, emoticons, transitions, filters, and animated GIFs. It will appear throughout the Alloprof ecosystem, from the website to Québec classrooms.
A straightforward, structured, and simplified navigation
The platform’s mission is to promote students’ self-confidence and give them the tools to succeed. Personalization is also central to the experience, which includes straightforward, structured, and simplified navigation, and a site that now adapts to the user’s grade level and evolves along with them on their academic journey.
The new platform is easy to use owing to its newly optimized search tool, a key feature that allows you to quickly find relevant results among thousands of pages of content. Plus, you can filter results by subject and type of content to simplify exploration and discovery.
Thanks to Flo and the new experience it offers, Québec students now have a “friend” to help them learn and do their homework in a more effective, rewarding and enjoyable way.
