After proving that you shouldn’t “put all your groceries in the same basket,” Metro is back in a big way for Bye Bye 2025, bringing back their lovable “new employees.”

This time, the grocery recruits tackle topics that get people talking, but not the headline news. Instead, Metro focuses on something that will be on everyone’s mind in January: the return of formal address (“vous”) in schools.

Through a series of in-store scenes, the recruits discover, for better or worse, that using formal language comes naturally with customers… but much less so between colleagues. The result: a series of quirky exchanges where the characters, already used to upholding the highest standards of freshness, realize that while the tone may change, their rigour never does.

As the main sponsor of this major year-end television event, Metro wants to remind people of one thing: before talking about products, we’re really talking about you. And this moment was created for you.
