Children’s Health Coalition Tells Parents to Do Their Homework
Work
Amidst the confusing and constantly changing narrative around COVID’s impact on kids, there is no go-to source for impartial information on the subject. Parent Homework, a new campaign created by Cossette, aims to be that source for parents.
Created for the Children’s Health Coalition/CHC (a collective of children's health organizations including SickKids, CHEO, McMaster Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital – London Health Sciences Centre, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Children’s Mental Health Ontario, Empowered Kids Ontario and Kids Health Alliance), Parent Homework aims to help parents to make an informed decision about vaccinating their children against COVID-19. The campaign flips the script on the relatable family topic of homework: children have to do homework, and now it’s time for parents to do theirs.
The CHC isn’t pushing a particular agenda, instead they’re providing facts that are easy to reference to help parents make up their own minds so they can make an informed decision.
The campaign launched earlier this month and runs until the end of February across TV, OLV and paid/organic social. The campaign is anchored by a website with vaccine FAQs and tutor “support” (a judgment-free vaccine consult service and hotline).
