Cossette invests in its strategic breadth and depth with three new VPs

Cossette is announcing the appointment of three new strategy executives stepping into VP roles.
Fernando Aloise, who joined Cossette as Strategy Director in 2016 and has been leading communications and content planning for accounts including Egg Farmers of Canada, City of Toronto and General Mills, has been promoted to VP Strategy. In his new role he will continue to work on this diverse portfolio and enrich customer experiences with his unique understanding on how purpose can allow customers to meaningfully connect with brands.
Nancy Beattie has joined Cossette as VP Group Strategy Leader. As the former GM and President of Taxi, she brings a deep understanding of the industry and business that will allow Cossette to further develop its strategic offering. She has also held senior leadership roles at Leo Burnett and Forsman & Bodenfors. She will focus on the McDonald’s business at Cossette. As 2019 EFFIE awards judge, she is committed to building a culture of effectiveness to the team and their work.
Debra Kavchak-Taylor has joined Cossette as VP Strategy from Publicis, where she was VP Strategic Planning and led a group of strategists on the Rogers and Metro Ontario businesses as well as being a champion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. With a strong background in research and insights on both the client and brand side, Debra brings an ability to unlock the human truths that allow brands to resonate with customers. She will focus primarily on Walmart and the Ministry of Health, a very recent win for Cossette. She will also bring her expertise in brand strategy to elevate Cossette’s client offering and mentor the strategy team.
