After delighting Quebec audiences with its McJoueur - Auditioning with McD’s campaign, McDonald’s Canada ended the year on a high note with a playful nod to fans during the Bye Bye. This fresh creation features hockey star Juraj Slafkovský and Simon-Olivier Fecteau, who produces this TV show, in a lighthearted exchange, continuing the friendly and humorous tone of the spots launched last November.

Airing exclusively on December 31, this ad marks McDonald’s long-awaited return to the coveted Bye Bye lineup—a first since 2019. The latest installment flips the script: after Juraj made the effort to learn a few words of French, it’s now Simon-Olivier’s turn to tackle some Slovak phrases.

By participating in this iconic Quebec TV event, McDonald’s seizes the opportunity to wish everyone a happy—and delicious—2025.
