Relief depicts the daily reality of people living with anxiety in Louise’s Diary
Work
As part of its efforts to break the taboos around mental health disorders, non-profit organization Relief just launched a new awareness campaign with Le journal de Louise.
Each week for a year, Louise’s Diary describes the highs and lows of a fictional character living with anxiety.
“Louise” represents the one out of five Canadians currently living with a mental health disorder. Created by Relief, Louise’s Diary is a story that helps put what these people feel into words, gives them tips and tricks to improve their well-being, and provides them with a safe space to help break the taboos around mental health in their personal and professional lives.
After having developed a brand-new visual identity for the organization in 2021, Cossette has once again leveraged its expertise to design the digital experience and provide the art direction for this latest project. Together with Relief, they wanted to create not just an awareness campaign, but a memorable and empathetic user experience in which everyone can identify with the character and thereby understand and reflect what they’re going through.
