McDonald’s Canada teams up with Toronto Raptor Pascal Siakam

The brand is launching the new Siakam Swirl McFlurry®, a treat that takes inspiration from Siakam’s iconic spin move and the Raptors’ team colours. It features rich and creamy vanilla soft-serve, decadent hot fudge and crushed Red SMARTIES®.
In partnership with Cossette, McDonald’s will leverage a combination of television spots, online videos, social (including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and Spotify), and OOH to drive awareness and excitement for the Siakam Swirl McFlurry.
The McFlurry and the Toronto Raptors share a deep history of Canadian pride. The Raptors played their first game in 1995, while Canadian McDonald’s franchisee Ron McLellan was at work creating the iconic dessert that same year. Both have since become champions, with the Raptors taking the NBA title in 2019 and the McFlurry now being served in over 100 countries.
Guests in Ontario can enjoy the newest addition to McDonald’s winning lineup of McFlurry flavours for a limited time at participating restaurants while cheering on Canada’s team.
